Wednesday, September 30th. For our final day in Xian, Sarah and I decided to enjoy the day with some relaxing activities. To start, we rented bikes on the Xian Ancient City Wall, where we were able to ride the bikes around the whole city. It was really cool to think that we were leisurely riding bikes on an ancient city wall that is over 1,500 years old! haha. We then headed to the Xian Great Mosque. The Great Mosque had architecture similar to the Forbidden City. We then walked to the Small Goose Pagoda and Big Goose Pagoda. While at the Big Goose Pagoda we watched the biggest water light show in China! We also learned that money can get you anywhere. After the light show (about 9:30pm) Sarah and I were trying to get a cab for over 1 hour! We finally pulled out a 100 RMB and got a cab within seconds. It's amazing how quick a cab driver will respond to a little extra cash! haha.
